American Board Certification

American Board certifications are not a single type or a single level
The widespread idea that they are one type and one level is incorrect.
There are different academic levels issued by the American Board
American Board certification differs according to the level of the American Board certificate
There is the American Board attendance certificate, which is the lowest certificate the American Board issues
And there is American Board certification for physicians in the American Board specialty of internal medicine

as well as the American Board specialty in nutrition and the American Board in dermatology
There is also American Board certification in cosmetology, a certificate from the American Board for those who work in the cosmetics field. The American Board divides this category into three levels:
1. Physicians who apply for American Board certification in cosmetology
2. Graduates of science faculties and cosmetics experts who hold academic qualifications or who have progressed with the American Board in the specialty
3. The third category is specialists who practice the profession without a suitable higher qualification and who wish to obtain American Board certification
American Board certification is offered to all of the above categories.
However, it differs: a physician differs from others, and likewise experts and scientists differ from others
There is another category working in the hair field, known in practice as hairdressers, among whom are experts, trainers and scientists, and a few physicians may occasionally or rarely work in the hair profession.
The American Board has recently extended its support to this category by offering them a unique American Board curriculum. This began with a request submitted by the administration of the American Board for Medical and Health Specialties to the scientific committee chaired by Professor Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud Kandil, the current chair of the scientific committee of the American Board
The hair division and its sections were approved starting in 2023
In its drive to elevate all specialties, the American Board for Medical and Health Specialties has organized 22 conferences and festivals for those working in the cosmetics field.
The American body, the American Board, has also expanded its American Board clinical nutrition activity to include the following categories
1. Physicians, pharmacists and science faculties
2. Other universities outside the previous category
3. Those working in general nutrition outside the two previous categories
Likewise, American Board certification in medical laboratory testing

now covers what the nutrition division covers, subject to American Board-specific conditions

The American Board awards many certificates, including
1. The attendance certificate, which certifies attendance at training sessions or conferences only. It is an honorary certificate proving attendance and confirming that the specialist attended the specified conference or training
2. The American Board training course certificate, awarded to those who train for less than 40 hours. It is a mini academic certificate below the American Board diploma
3. The American Board professional diploma, an important certificate awarded to those who have completed more than 40 hours of training. It is a strong certificate awarded after training and an exam
4. The American Board higher professional diploma: a high-level academic certificate awarded to those who have completed more than 200 training hours. It is awarded after multiple specialized professional exams and comes with a student membership card, the graduation certificate, a translation and a transcript of grades, accredited by the American Board, the American University for Continuing Education, the American Open University and other accreditation bodies
5. Trainer accreditation. The American Board legally accredits trainers: the trainer receives an international practice certificate, a trainer accreditation certificate, a third certificate from the federal government for the American Board and, finally, a professional training license in the name of the American Board
6. American Board accreditation certificate for centers, universities and institutes. This certificate is granted in accordance with the standards of ISO, IAF, AMSA, AMA, AACME and others. Centers receive specific, exclusive certificates, and the accreditation serves as international coverage and strong accreditation recognized by many government and international universities and by cooperating syndicates and associations
7. American Board agent accreditation certificate, an exclusive certificate granted according to standards under which each case is studied independently, in line with the quality and accreditation standards in force under the law.
8. The American Board experience certificate, awarded to trainees under the umbrella of the American Board.
9. The international ISO certificate, accredited by IAF and the American Council for Medical and Health Specialties and granted in cooperation with IAF. It aims to achieve quality and accreditation for trainers, centers and medical and health laboratories.
10. Board certification in medical specialties (American Board Certified), awarded to physicians according to American Board standards and conditions that depend on the department
11. Professional certificates in other specialties and community participation, granted in cooperation with government and international universities
